Eventually he negotiates an apartment in the historic old house, but soon finds he’s not quite as alone as he thought. What ghostly secret has the owner failed to share?

“The House on Cooper Lane builds suspense instead of throwing fear at you with every turn. I liked watching Bud as he attempted to figure out what was going on in the apartment complex. On the one hand, I was curious why he wasn’t suspicious of the vacant home, but on the other hand, he really didn’t have a choice. It was stay there or sleep in his car.”
